On 19th February, Mou Xiaolong, the head of International Exchange and Cooperation Department of Yantai Vocational College, and his three-member delegation visited us to exchange and learn about international exchange and cooperation work. Li Yudi, Director of the Department of International Exchange and Cooperation and Dean of International School, and related personnel received the visit.

At the symposium, Li Yudi expressed her warm welcome to the delegation of Yantai Vocational College, and introduced in detail the achievements of our internationalised education, focusing on the teaching and management of international students, the operation of Sino-foreign cooperative projects and the overseas promotion of ‘Chinese + Vocational Skills’. She said, ‘Binzhou Polytechnic has always been upholding the concept of open school running, and is looking forward to complementing each other's advantages with Yantai Polytechnic, exploring the mode of collaborative innovation in the areas of resource sharing, mutual training of teachers and overseas base construction, and jointly serving the high-quality development of vocational education in the “Belt and Road”. ’ Mou Xiaolong spoke highly of the effectiveness of our internationalisation work. He said that Yantai International School has continued to expand its international cooperation network in recent years, and the purpose of this visit is to learn from Binzhou Polytechnic's advanced experience in international student cultivation, international exchanges and co-operation, etc. He hoped that the two schools would establish a regular exchange mechanism to jointly carry out projects such as international skills training and overseas school-enterprise co-operation, so as to build up a model of co-operation for the internationalisation of vocational education. Both sides shared their experiences and practices in international exchanges and cooperation, exchanged views on problems encountered and jointly discussed solutions, and reached a broad consensus, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation.

The visit and exchange activities of Yantai Vocational College not only promoted mutual understanding and friendship between the two schools, but also provided new ideas and directions for in-depth cooperation between the two schools in the field of international exchange and cooperation.
