Since the cultivation of international students in 2020, the number of international students in Binzhou Polytechnic has gradually increased, and the cumulative number of international students in the school in 2024 reached more than 100 times in the whole year, with the student sources coming from Nepal, Morocco, Algeria, Pakistan, Mongolia, Lesotho and other countries, which has earned Binzhou Polytechnic a good reputation in the international arena, and helped to shape the open and tolerant image of Binzhou Polytechnic as a city for foreigners.
In order to promote international Chinese teaching, the school focuses on building a team of excellent international Chinese teachers, at present there are 6 full-time international Chinese teachers and 20 teachers with international Chinese teacher qualification certificates. The school has built a training room for ‘Chinese + vocational skills’ and a language training room, and is equipped with advanced informatisation teaching equipment, teaching management software, and a recording system, etc. The school has constantly optimised and adjusted the international Chinese language curriculum. The university continuously optimises and adjusts the international Chinese language curriculum system, and builds online teaching resources such as the ‘Integrated Chinese Language’ online open course.
In order to improve the quality of cultivation of international students, the school has made great efforts and gained gratifying results. International students passed HSK exam through the school's cultivation and applied for further opportunities to continue their studies in famous universities in China, and in 2024, our students applied for Northeastern University, Yunnan University, Shanghai University of Electric Power and other colleges and universities. At the same time, international students recommend their fellow countrymen to study Chinese at the school, which brings a continuous and stable source of students for the school and opens the door to the international market of vocational education for the school.
