At the end of the year, Chinese New Year is approaching. In order to do a good job of service and protection for international students and let them feel the joy and warmth of Chinese New Year, at noon of 28th January, Li Yudi, dean of International School, director of International Exchange and Cooperation Office, and international student teaching managers went to international students' flats with the full care and concern of International School to carry out Chinese New Year sympathy activities, and celebrated the festive season with international students staying in the university.

After arriving at the international students' flats, the teachers presented the international students with well-prepared Chinese New Year souvenirs and cooked dumplings for the students with their own hands. A plate of steaming dumplings was served on the table, which not only satisfied the taste buds, but also warmed up the hearts, and everyone sat around, tasted the food containing Chinese New Year flavour, and enjoyed the warm moment of reunion. Afterwards, the teachers led the international students to post couplets for the flats together, sharing and exchanging the beautiful meanings of Chinese spring couplets. The red couplets were unfolded in their hands and pasted on the doors, with everyone's good expectations and blessings for the New Year.

This sympathy activity not only let the international students deeply experience the traditional customs of Chinese New Year and feel the importance and care of the college to them, but also let them feel a full sense of belonging and happiness when they are in a foreign country.
