Crossing mountains and oceans, travelling across oceans, bonding with China, meeting in BZPT, international students, learning international Chinese language and feeling Chinese culture here.

In the future, they will become a bridge to enhance friendly exchanges between China and foreign countries and add bricks and mortar to the building of a community of human destiny.

Recently, more than 30 international students from Morocco, Pakistan, Mongolia and other six countries Binzhou Polytechnic conducted a unique traditional Chinese culture research trip, happy to use the Chinese ‘confession’.

#The Huji Shuhui is a national intangible cultural heritage with a history of 800 years.

The international students first visited the cultural exhibition hall of Huji Book Club. Following the explanation of the lecturer, they learnt about the history of the development of Huji Book Club, the inheritance and innovation of the music culture, as well as a touching story through an old photo that caught their eyes, and interacted with the staff present at the meeting.

Afterwards, the international students came to Wei's Manor, an ancient manor that has witnessed the rise and fall of Wei's family for several generations. The unique architectural style and exquisite layout of the manor revealed a strong historical atmosphere everywhere. International students strolled around the manor, not only appreciated the exquisite architectural art, but also learned about the historical heritage and family culture of the Wei family.

‘Here, we experienced different cultures and saw ancient Chinese buildings with strong traditional cultural design features.This place is full of art and it is a very representative place for the extremely rich traditional Chinese culture.’ Li Ruyi, an international student from Pakistan, said.

This activity is not only a cultural study trip, but also a cultural exchange event.

Through in-depth experience of Chinese culture with strong local characteristics, international students felt the profoundness of the excellent traditional Chinese culture, improved their own Chinese language proficiency in a subtle way, and realised the transformation of the excellent traditional Chinese culture from understanding to love and then to carry forward.
