On 17 June, Binzhou Polytechnic held a graduation ceremony for international students in the spring semester of 2024
Liu Jinyi, Secretary of the Party Committee of the university, and Hu Hongtao, member of the Party Committee and President of Binzhou Institute of Applied Science and Technology, awarded certificates of completion to 21 international students.
This marks the successful completion of their learning tasks in Binzhou Polytechnic to open a new chapter in their lives!
Liu Ming, deputy director of Foreign Affairs Office of Binzhou Municipal Government, Binzhou Municipal Education Bureau, Shandong Aviation College, Binzhou Medical College, Lubei Institute of Technology, Binzhou Polytechnic College, Binzhou City, Binzhou City, Science and Technology Vocational College of the international exchange of work in charge of the comrades were invited to participate in this activity.
Liu Jinyi congratulated the international students who had successfully completed their studies. He fully affirmed the excellent achievements and progress made by the international students during their studies, emphasised the importance and significance of international exchanges, and hoped that the international students could become ambassadors of Sino-foreign cultural exchanges and make positive contributions to enhancing the friendship and mutual understanding between Chinese and foreign people.
During the activity, Li Ruyi, a student from Pakistan, delivered a closing speech. He fondly recalled his learning and living experience in Binzhou Polytechnic, expressed his gratitude to the school, teachers and classmates, and at the same time was full of expectation and longing for the future learning and life.
At the ceremony, international students with outstanding performance in academics, morals and social practice were honoured, and seven international students were awarded the title of ‘Outstanding Students’.
Since October last year, the school began to recruit international language students, formed a academic international students as the main, language students as a supplement to the cultivation mode of international students, at present a total of 41 international students from Morocco, Pakistan, Mongolia, Algeria, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, and other six countries to study in BinJiao.Their arrival has enriched the country-specific categories of the foreign population in Binzhou, improved the international reputation of Binzhou, and made important contributions to the foreign propaganda work of Binzhou.
In the next step, the school will continue to strengthen international exchanges and co-operation, provide more international students with high-quality educational resources and services, and endeavour to cultivate more talents with international vision and competitiveness.
