On the morning of September 21, Binzhou Vocational and Technical University successfully held the Certification Certificate Award Ceremony and Project Summary Meeting for the “China-ASEAN 2030 Vocational Education Top 100 Courses Sharing Initiative.” Attendees included Song Heng’ai, Director of the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) Regional Centre for Technical Education Development (SEAMEO TED), and Qin Ziyan, Special Advisor; Zhao Xiaohua, General Manager of Wuhan Lianyuan Yige Digital Technology Co., Ltd., and Li Jiaxuan, Business Manager; as well as relevant heads and teacher representatives from the International College, College of Bioengineering, and College of Chemical Engineering and Energy of Binzhou Vocational and Technical University.

At the beginning of the meeting, Song Heng’ai delivered an online speech. He reviewed the original intention behind launching the project, elaborated on the significance of cooperation and future direction, and highly affirmed the achievements of this course development. Then Zhao Xiaohua introduced the goals and positioning, implementation path, and phased results of the “China-ASEAN 2030 Vocational Education Top 100 Courses Sharing Initiative.”

During the certificate award session, the China-ASEAN Technical Education Cooperation Platform presented our university with a letter of appreciation and professional standards certification certificates. Supported by this project, the university developed five international online premium courses, including Production and Operation of Ion-exchange Membrane Caustic Soda, and was recognized as a “China-ASEAN Vocational Education International Golden Course,” marking a solid step in the university’s high-quality vocational education resources going global to ASEAN.

Afterwards, participants held in-depth discussions on topics such as China-ASEAN school-enterprise cooperation, digital resource development, and skilled talent cultivation. The head of the university’s International College delivered a concluding speech, stating that the university will continue to deepen international exchanges and cooperation, promote the flow and sharing of more high-quality vocational education resources across regions, and looks forward to continuing to work hand in hand with all parties to move from “100 courses” to “100 schools” and from “sharing” to “win-win,” jointly writing a new chapter in the coordinated development of China-ASEAN vocational education.

This project is an important practice of Binzhou Vocational and Technical University in actively implementing the internationalization development strategy of vocational education and serving China-ASEAN vocational education cooperation. Next, the university will continue to deepen collaborative cooperation with the SEAMEO Regional Centre for Technical Education Development, Wuhan Lianyuan Yige Digital Technology Co., Ltd., and other parties, help more vocational education achievements with Chinese characteristics go global, and contribute to serving regional industrial upgrading and empowering skilled talent cultivation.
