Recently, the international division of the 2025 World Skills Competition Finals concluded successfully. Three teams formed by Binzhou Vocational College in collaboration with institutions from Morocco and Canada delivered outstanding performances, securing one gold and two silver medals. Their first-ever gold medal propelled the team to advance to the ranking round.

The joint team from our university and Moroccan institutions participated in the “Smart Wings Aid Journey” Cloud-Based Intelligent Emergency Response International Rescue Platform Project, led and guided by Professor Yang Nana from the School of Information Engineering. Demonstrating solid technical capabilities and outstanding collaborative performance, the team stood out among numerous competitors, ultimately winning the Gold Award and successfully advancing to the ranking stage. This achievement fully highlights the exceptional outcomes of inter-institutional cooperation.

The school's joint team with Moroccan institutions participated in the “Grass and Willow Weaving Dreams: A Thousand-Year Intangible Cultural Heritage Across the Globe” project, led and guided by Professor Fang Yanhong. The team demonstrated outstanding performance in cross-border e-commerce operations and cross-cultural marketing. Leveraging their solid cultural understanding and international market capabilities, they were awarded the Silver Prize. This achievement fully reflects the school's innovative practices and successful international collaboration in integrating intangible cultural heritage preservation with business education.

The school's joint team with Canadian institutions participated in the “One-Click Care, Peaceful Homes” project, led and guided by Professor Wang Zhaohong from the School of Health Sciences. The team excelled in technical application and cross-cultural communication, winning the Silver Award and fully demonstrating the professional competence and international perspective of the school's medical and health students.

In preparation for the competition, the university proactively responded to the international division's requirements, conducted in-depth research on the event's format and rules, actively assembled the competition team, and fully coordinated all preparatory matters. This achievement serves as a vivid embodiment of the university's educational philosophy of “teaching aligned with industry needs and university-enterprise collaboration,” while also marking a significant milestone in advancing the internationalization strategy of vocational education.

This breakthrough on the international stage provides a compelling testament to the school's advancement of vocational education globalization. Building upon this new foundation, the school will further expand its international cooperation network, optimize its curriculum system and training mechanisms by integrating cutting-edge technologies, and dedicate itself to cultivating versatile technical talents capable of addressing future industrial transformations.
