Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC)-Luban Mozi College (SICOMINES SARL) is jointly built by Binzhou Polytechnic, China Railway Huagang Mining Company Limited and Nonferrous Metal Industry Talent Centre. Located in the city of Koluwich, Lualaba Province, DRC, the main form of schooling is vocational training, specialised in electromechanical integration technology and electrical automation technology.
In terms of preliminary cooperation, in June 2021, the three parties signed the Framework Agreement on School-Enterprise Collaboration for Overseas Development, and jointly constructed the Overseas Industry-Education Integration Training Centre (Chinese Language Workshop), which was unveiled online in December of the same year.Subsequently, Binzhou Polytechnic carried out a number of ‘Chinese Bridge’ online group programmes, training more than 700 people. 2023 August, the college also sent two teachers to the DRC China Railway Resources Company for offline training, training more than 200 times of the enterprise's local staff. In September of the same year, Binzhou Polytechnic signed a co-operation agreement with Kabarda Industrial and Technical School to jointly build an overseas branch, Luban Mozi College.
In terms of schooling conditions, it has Kabarda Industrial and Technical School and China Railway Huagang Mining Co., Ltd. as its schooling sites. Teaching equipments are configured according to the intelligent, green and digital needs of overseas electromechanical equipment development. Relying on the integration of industry and education, we have constructed a vocational education system of electromechanical integration based on the XK-ETT2 electric technology training table.
Luban Mozi College's recent priorities include offering courses in Chinese language, vocational skills, Chinese culture and contemporary China, organising internships and customised training according to the needs of enterprises, building overseas practical training bases for skills, organising overseas study exchanges for students, training local Chinese language and vocational Chinese language teachers, as well as organising the Chinese language proficiency exams of the HSK series, and other outreach services. The BAMC has also been working on the development of the Chinese language programme for the past few years. Through these efforts, Luban Mozi College aims to cultivate compound talents with Chinese communication skills and vocational skills, and contribute to the development of local enterprises and social economy.
