On June 23, representatives of our faculty and students were invited by the Binzhou Foreign Affairs Office and the Binzhou Government Service Center to participate in the “Friendly Shandong Tour · Government Services Up Close” Government Service Experience Day for foreign friends in Binzhou.

During the experience, our faculty and student representatives served as “Government Service Experience Officers.” They observed the “One-Stop Service for Foreigners in China” counter at the Municipal Government Service Center and tried out the “12367” online immigration service platform. Through this hands-on experience, they gained a real sense of the efficiency and convenience offered by the “one-window acceptance” and “integrated online processing” models for foreign-related services, and also offered suggestions on bilingual interfaces and service procedures.

At the symposium, the student experience officers shared their personal observations and made practical recommendations on improving multilingual information availability and service accessibility. After the meeting, the group visited the Municipal Museum to conduct on-site research on multilingual signage, contributing suggestions for standardizing bilingual public signs in the city.

This event provided a hands-on platform for our faculty and students to actively engage in the development of the city's foreign-friendly environment, while also deepening their understanding of Binzhou's government service system. Looking ahead, our university will continue to support efforts to streamline and improve the efficiency of the application and entry procedures for international students, contributing the strength of vocational education to enhance the overall quality of foreign-related public services in the city.
