Recently, to further enhance international students' awareness of fire safety and emergency response capabilities, the International College, together with the Security Department, organized a fire safety training and emergency evacuation drill for overseas students.

As the simulated fire alarm went off, the emergency evacuation drill officially began. Under the guidance of staff members, international students quickly covered their mouths and noses with wet towels, bent low, kept close to the walls, and evacuated swiftly and orderly to the safe assembly area along the designated escape routes. The whole process was efficient and well-organized, effectively improving all international students' abilities in emergency evacuation and self-rescue cooperation.
After the drill, staff gave lectures on fire prevention, fire equipment operation and fire scene self-rescue knowledge, and demonstrated the four steps of fire extinguisher use: lift, pull, hold and squeeze. The international students actively took part in hands-on practice one by one to master the use of fire-fighting facilities and practical fire handling skills. Students of different nationalities communicated and helped each other in a lively and well-organized atmosphere.
This activity has further strengthened international students' safety awareness and improved their practical emergency evacuation and self-rescue skills, laying a solid foundation for building a safe campus. The International College will continue to integrate safety education into daily management and optimize the safety prevention system, so as to build a solid safety barrier for overseas students studying and living in China, enabling all students to pursue their studies and grow up safely and securely.
