To effectively ensure the safety management of international students during the Qingming holiday, uphold the principle of “safety first, life above all,” and recognize excellence while fostering a positive academic atmosphere, the International College organized a holiday safety education session and outstanding student recognition event for all international students on April 3.

At the beginning of the session, the counselor gave a focused presentation on key safety issues during the holiday. Using real-life cases, the counselor provided detailed reminders on traffic safety, drowning prevention, dormitory safety, telecom fraud prevention, and compliance with regulations regarding “illegal entry, illegal stay, and illegal employment,” guiding students to raise their safety awareness, regulate their daily behavior, and strengthen their ability to protect themselves.

During the session, all international students carefully read the Holiday Safety Commitment Letter, deeply understood the importance of safety responsibilities, and signed it one by one. Through this solemn commitment, they helped build a strong safety defense for the holiday and ensured a safe and secure break.

After the safety education session, the class moved to the recognition segment. The International College honored outstanding international students who had performed exceptionally well in attendance, classroom performance, and daily conduct since the beginning of the semester. Certificates of honor were presented to these students, encouraging them to cherish their recognition, continue their good work, and serve as positive role models. All international students were also encouraged to follow the example of these outstanding peers, strictly abide by university rules and regulations, study diligently, and actively integrate into campus life.

This thematic education activity combined safety education with role model recognition. It not only strengthened international students’ awareness of safety and discipline but also fostered a positive, motivating, and competitive learning atmosphere. It laid a solid foundation for ensuring a safe and stable holiday while enhancing the quality of international student education.
