In order to organisationally promote vocational colleges and enterprises in Shandong Province to ‘go to sea in groups’, and to further promote the construction of vocational education overseas ‘Luban-Mozi College’, on June 14th, the province's vocational education overseas ‘Luban-Mozi College’ construction work exchange activities were held in Jining, Shandong Province. ‘Luban-Mozi College’ construction work exchange activities were held in Jining.

Lin Yu, director of the Vocational Education Development Centre of the Ministry of Education, Wang Zhigang, chief inspector of the Shandong Provincial Department of Education, Song Kai, deputy secretary of the party committee and deputy director of the Nonferrous Metal Industry Talent Centre, attended the event and delivered a speech, and Chen Zhihao, director of the provincial Vocational Education Department, presided over the event. Liu Jinyi, Secretary of Party Committee of Binzhou Polytechnic, attended the activity.

In recent years, 12 overseas vocational colleges have achieved remarkable results in promoting standards recognition, teaching resources development and overseas staff training for enterprises, and have the conditions to be transformed into overseas ‘Luban-Mozi College’. At the activity site, Lin Yu, Wang Zhigang, Song Kai and other leaders awarded plaques to the 12 lead institutions of Binzhou Polytechnic and other ‘Luban-Mozi College’.

The conference invited four schools to exchange experience in the construction of ‘Luban-Mozi College’. Li Yudi, Dean of International School of Binzhou Polytechnic and Director of International Exchange and Cooperation Department, made an exchange speech with the title of ‘School-enterprise cooperation in nurturing craftsmen, “vocational” assistance overseas to create Chinese chapters’. She introduced the remarkable achievements of the university in building ‘Chinese Workshop’ and ‘Industry-Education Integration Centre’, undertaking the ‘Chinese Bridge’ project and exporting international standards to serve international production capacity cooperation, and shared the many experiences accumulated by the university in ‘going overseas with enterprises’. Sharing the many experiences accumulated by the school in ‘going to sea with enterprises’.

Up to now, Binzhou Polytechnic has participated in the construction of four overseas ‘Luban-Mozi Colleges’, namely, Congo (DRC) - Luban-Mozi College (China Railway Resources), Guinea - Luban-Mozi College (Aluminium Corporation of China (Alcoa)), Malaysia - Luban-Mozi College (CCCG), and Malaysia - Luban-Mozi College (China Radio and Television Corporation (CRTC)). In the future, the university will continue to serve the major national strategies, deepen the cooperation with the ‘Belt and Road’ countries, and constantly explore the new mode and path of the construction of Luban-Mozi College, so as to make greater contribution to the vocational education of our province ‘going out’.
