International School Participates in the Explanatory Meeting of the Second Batch of ‘VET to the Sea’ 2.0 Standard Output and Digital International Quality Courses and Dual Publishing of Teaching Materials Project

On the afternoon of 15 January, in order to further improve teachers' international teaching ability and education quality, cultivate an international “two-teacher” faculty, serve the development initiative of “Belt and Road”, and push forward the implementation of “Vocational Education Going to the Sea” version 2.0, we have launched the “Vocational Education Going to the Sea” programme, which will help develop professional standards, curriculum standards, and teaching resources with international influence. At the meeting, Oscar van Til, President of the World Skills Development Alliance (WSDA), pointed out that it would promote China's high-quality vocational education resources and technologies to the world and enrich the world's vocational education system. Representatives of Chinese vocational colleges and universities made keynote speeches on the core content of the project and shared their practical achievements in the internationalisation of vocational education. Relevant personnel of the project executive office launched a detailed explanation on the construction content and specific methods of the project, which pointed out the direction and cutting-edge dynamics for the implementation of the project. At the meeting, Liu Jinyi, Secretary of the Party Committee of the University, Hu Hongtao, Member of the Party Committee and President of Binzhou Institute of Applied Science and Technology, and Li Yudi, Dean of International School and Director of International Exchange and Cooperation Office, were elected as the second batch of expert members of the Expert Committee of the ‘Vocational Education Going to the Sea’ 2.0 Standard Output and Digitisation of International Excellence Courses and Dual Publishing of Teaching Materials Project.
