In order to promote the standardisation of international school operation and enhance the comprehensive ability of the staff of International School, International School held the 2025 work scheduling meeting on 18th March and started the activity of ‘Ability Enhancement Month’. Li Yudi, Dean of International School and Director of International Exchange and Cooperation Office, presided over the meeting and made work deployment, and the heads of each section and related staff attended the meeting.
The heads of each section reported the annual work task plan one by one around the four core business sections of comprehensive affairs management, international exchange and cooperation school running, and international student teaching and management, clarifying the objectives, refining the programme and pressing down the responsibility. The Comprehensive Affairs Section focuses on party building leadership, focuses on the implementation of asset management optimization, social training and other 16 tasks; the International Exchange and Cooperation Section deepens external cooperation, focuses on promoting 7 international cooperation projects, and accelerates the landing of 4 overseas school projects; the International Student Management Section improves the management system, optimizes the enrollment and admission process, and innovatively carries out 12 special cultural activities; the International Student Teaching and Management Section strengthens the inner-connotation construction, and focuses on the promotion of the development of the Chinese online course, the development of national education teaching materials, and the development of Chinese language teaching materials. The international student teaching work strengthens the connotation construction, focuses on promoting the development of online Chinese language courses, the preparation of national education teaching materials, the organisation of international Chinese language competitions, etc., and strives to build the cultural brand of ‘Recommendation Officer of Binzhou’. At present, each section has set up work accounts to ensure that the annual target tasks are completed with high quality.
Li Yudi stressed the need for professional, project management to promote high-quality development, requiring each section to ‘show the goal, the direction, strict control of progress’, the implementation of list management, project promotion. She particularly pointed out that the performance report to do ‘three bright’: bright target, bright progress, bright results, shall be off-script presentation, with data to speak, with the actual results to convince people.
During the ‘Ability Improvement Month’ of International School, experts from inside and outside the university will be invited to carry out specialised training on the core business of writing official documents, handling foreign affairs, teaching international students, etc. At the same time, experience sharing will be organised for business backbones to carry out activities such as job skills demonstration.
