Farewell to the last star in 2024, witness the first ray of sunshine in 2025, only the wind and the harvest have risen and the steps are resounding. Looking back, the journey is full of excitement; looking up, the distance is clear.This year, we have kept our original intention and led the high-quality development of education with high-quality party building. Based on the work of the ‘first secretary’, we set up a vertical Party building alliance integrating ‘city, county, township and village’ to help build villages. Taking the internationalisation business work as a bridge, it horizontally connects departmental units and carries out party building activities. It actively participates in the activities of Binzhou International Education Union of Colleges and Universities, which is a ‘foreign-school linkage to help open up’.

This year, we have strengthened our contacts and expanded our circle of friends with high-quality cooperation. With Malaysia, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Belarus, Spain, Morocco, Tunisia and other foreign 11 colleges and universities, educational institutions signed a cooperation agreement on teachers and students to enhance academic qualifications, training and learning, base construction and other aspects of cooperation. The university has been approved to become a unit of China-Africa University Cooperation Programme, a unit of China-ASEAN Thousand Schools Cooperation Programme, a unit of China-Central and Eastern European Countries Industry-Education Integration Development Unit, a member of ‘China-Arab Universities 10+10 Cooperation Programme’, an executive director of China-Pakistan Digital Education Alliance, and the chairman of China-Vietnam Vocational Education Industry-Teaching Alliance.

This year, we dared to be the first and wrote the internationalisation competition answer sheet with high-quality results. We hosted the Conference on Overseas Vocational Education in Shandong Province in 2024 and the Establishment of the Yellow River Delta Vocational Education Internationalisation and Integration Development Community, and organised the establishment of the Yellow River Delta Vocational Education Internationalisation and Integration Development Community. It participated in the provincial vocational education overseas ‘Luban Mozi College’ construction work exchange meeting, the 2024 International School Conference and Industry-Education Integration Expo, the 2024 World Congress on the Development of Vocational and Technical Education, and the 2024 World Chinese Language Conference, and made typical sharing.

This year, we have broken with the old and established the new, and promoted the expansion of international student training with high-quality reforms. The source of international students has covered 14 countries, including Mongolia, Pakistan, Morocco and Nepal, and the number of international students has reached 362. We have formed a cultivation mode mainly for academic students, supplemented by language students, Chinese language and skills training, and a curriculum system with the framework of ‘language course, Chinese national education course and skills course’. The international students won one silver and one bronze in the World Vocational College Skills Competition, eight international students were admitted to Beijing Second Foreign Language University, Northeastern University and other colleges and universities, and one international student was employed by China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC) in Morocco.

This year, we built bridges with culture, and helped to enhance the openness of the city by telling a good Chinese story of Binzhou. Organise Chinese traditional culture experience activities for international students such as Spring Festival and Lantern Festival, participate in non-heritage characteristic courses such as lacquer fan making, go to Du Shuitian's former residence, Sun Tzu Culture City, and Pleasant Life Science and Technology Museum to carry out study, and host the ‘Flying over the Himalayas’ Nepal/Shandong (Binzhou) Culture Week and the ‘Charming Nepal’ photography exhibition. Looking back to 2024, we are riding on the wind and waves, and every BZPT international person is a striver and a dream chaser. Looking forward to 2025, we are full of fighting spirit and make another chapter!
